2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet ?

I have a 2021 F150 Platinum with factory tow mirrors. A while back I used Forscan to implement double horn, temps, Bambi, global windows, Lincoln mode. Still have the occasional odd mirror behavior (driver side sometimes unfolds while passenger does not, etc.) but I have a new concern.

Puddle lights.

Post #545 talks about having dealer add tow mirrors and both puddle and spotlights are working. Hmm. I realized my puddle lights never work. I can use zone lighting and light up either side as desired. I can turn on/off the spotlights by pushing the buttons by the headlight switch. In fact I think these are the same led lights.

Seems I should get light on the sides so I can see to step in etc. Heck my son's mustang projects a mustang shaped light when he approaches. Whhen I approach the F150 in the evenings with fob in pocket I get lots of lights front and back.. none on the side. Is this normal?

Not sure if Forscan related or not.

Bringing up zone lighting on the console... Turning zone lighting on and off turns on/off both spotlight and puddle light. Having zone lighting off .. but still that screen... if I open the door the screen illuminates indicating the puddle lights have come on. But they do not work on door open. Or approach (other lights do). etc. Don't work when turning spotlights on with dash buttons. Very odd.

Anyone else have tow mirrors. Lincoln fold and puddle lights that work?

I has same issue after Lincoln mode, after restore to original values puddle light works

@Jesse-Infotainment I dropped my truck off and asked for the IPMA update again. The dealer and I got to talking and he told me that it’s the IPMB module, not IPMA that runs the all around cameras, and that IPMA is the one that operates the front camera for stuff like cruise control, lane assist, etc.

Im wondering what your thoughts are as I’ve never heard of the IPMB Module.

what does the IPMB do then?

I did forscan mods on my brothers 22’ superduty tremor (he has all the cameras at speed) and he has an IPMA and IPMB module show up. Never opened the IPMB one tho. My truck doesn’t even have IPMB show up.

I don’t know if I can even do this. Here you go. This is direct from ford wiring. The ipma handles all cameras all sensors all radar all cruise.

From what I read the B handles analog cameras. As far as I know the only camera that is analog in 21 is cargo cam and still it goes to the ipma. I’ll try and see if I can get specifics on it but I haven’t encountered it. If someone else knows maybe they can chime in. I don’t know 100%. Even the STx like mine had a digital rear view camera. It was analog from the ipma but I was able to convert it to digital. The ipma is the same for rear view cam only trucks

Do an APIM reset under the wrench icon after the APIM changes.
I did this and got hitch cam at speed but lost bed cam not selectable any more
any help would be great

Looks like the IPMB may have to do with Trailer reverse guidance..

Here's some things to try:

Do an APIM reset under the wrench icon after the APIM changes.
I did this and got hitch cam at speed but lost bed cam not selectable any more

I have mine all working. The only problem is you only get the hitch cam and the cargo cam in motion. The others are not selectable. You can also only switch through the cameras in motion with the camera hard button. If you initiate the cam in motion.. come to a stop and then use the soft button to select the front camera I believe then it will stay on.

I used the 21.5 trucks as a guide for the cam in motion. My entire set up is after the fact anyway.. I didn’t have 360 or 12” from the factory I added it all. Along with the cargo cam.

Anyone found a way to enable walk away auto lock? After 5 years of just walking away, habits are hard to break. I remember an hour or 2 later that I did not lock it.

Ok.. Lincoln fold with tow mirrors means no puddle lights. Got it.

Anyone have Lincoln fold with the stock mirrors? Do puddle lights work?

I hate to be redundant here, but anyone have the correct values for the cameras at speed for a XLT 302A, FX4 ?

These values didn't seem to work for me unfortunately:

"7D0-01-04 = xxxx-FCxx-xxxx Originally = 01 in those spaces
706-02-02 = xxxF-CExx-xxxx Originally = 0, 4, C

Things I have changed, but not sure if they affect it at all (yet):

706-01-01 = xxxx-Axxx-xExx Originally = 8 and C
7D0-01-02 = Axxx-xxxx-xxxx Originally = 2"

So with the IPMA update and these changes, you’ll get the cargo and hitch cam correct?That’s why I asked them for the IPMA update.
