No new exterior colors, no new options and standard options being removed. It's like Ford is giving up.

IMO, you're insane to drive a full sized truck with an inflator kit. You aren't hauling or towing with a tire held together by goop.

Each trim carries over standard equipment. PRO has standard heated seats. Flash will have them as well.
Then why does the Lariat explicitly list heated and vented seats for the Active-X trimmed seats?

Look at past order guides. They always said "Heated and Ventilated" for Lariat.

Because the ventilated part was an "addition" to the previous series.
XLT and Flash get heated seats just like the Pro. This nomenclature started in the 2023 order guide. Listed for Pro and continued to apply to XLT and above.

off topic, but this is what really bugs me about the GMC offerings. No spare tire on the Silverado or Sierra EV. In my mind it can't be a good road tripper without a spare tire. I am not risking leaving my wife and 2 small kids stranded on the side of the road.

Agree. It's only a $175 option to add but I wonder how many of these "pre-built / can't configure" trucks will have that option.
You may be even able to add it without Ford - buy the tire carrier part and install yourself with a cheap wheel & tire elsewhere.
EDIT: Jack is still included

Just a few weeks ago I had a flat. No idea what I ran over but I was losing 2 PSI every 5 seconds from a hole where the tread and sidewall meet. There was no repairing that sucker with fix-a-flat. What are we supposed to do with a family if we need to call for a tow? Ford may cover the tow but do they cover the cost of getting my family off the side of the road? We aren't all going to fit in the tow truck. I'm quite happy I had a spare, just wish I'd practiced swapping it out so I didn't have to spend so much time in the sun doing it when I actually needed it.

Glad I just bought a 24' and didn't hold out for the 25' (was expecting an NACS port)

I agree with you for the most part. I do think out of all the parts in our cars, our tires are the most vulnerable to damage. If I am by myself, sure, a waiting for a tow is no problem. But I as a father and husband, I would hate for my wife and kids to be stranded with no way for me to fix it and be at the mercy of a tow truck driver.

I also found this tidbit interesting:

"Front & Rear Molded Splash Guards w/out wheellip molding"

Specifically, what is meant by w/out wheellip molding? I have the factory Ford Lightning splash guards on my 2024. And they have some small wheellips (the side that protrudes towards the face of the wheel/tire sidewall). Is it possible Ford redesigned the splash guards for the 2025 MY trucks?
