To my eyes the classic look of the production truck appeals way more than that 'squished' looking concept. A bit too much going on on the hood, otherwise I like it.

That's a tradeoff many people will take.. The Lightning works great for many use cases. EVs will need more capability to work in really cold climates, towing applications, areas geographically spread out with few chargers, etc.They copied a lot from the Lightning.
I can't wait for the specs. You can't cheat physics. They may have a larger range, but it will come at a price. Bigger batteries cost money.
