Looking deeper it looks like the front bliss is NOT needed.

Ok, I was trying to make sure for him wanting just the adaptive cruise and lane centering so that was what I was answering. Thank you for clarifying what they are forThey are for the Intersection assist that comes with co pilot360 assist 2.0
Awesome, thanks for the clarification, I sorta figured it had to be something along the lines as the rear bliss system since its the same sensors. They are for the Intersection assist that comes with co pilot360 assist 2.0
I have a 2021 King Ranch with 601A, which includes the Ford Copilot 360 Assist 2.0, and can confirm that my truck does not have the front BLISS sensors. The attached picture shows that i have the front BLISS bracket but i dont have the actual sensor. They are for the Intersection assist that comes with co pilot360 assist 2.0
My 501A is exactly the same like yours, wired for the front bliss sensors but no sensor.I have a 2021 King Ranch with 601A, which includes the Ford Copilot 360 Assist 2.0, and can confirm that my truck does not have the front BLISS sensors. Reading this post, i was curious what they are for. I recently added the four front proximity sensors and have been wondering what i need to update to get the truck to recognize them.
Hi, the changes are really needed for the module to be seen.. If it is there it will be seen. The problem I think you are having is even thought the plug was there the wires may not go all the way to the IPMA.. You need to verify the wires are populated in the plug I attached.@Jesse-Infotainment update on my progress thus far, unfortunately haven't had as good of luck adding ACC as you did so far. Got the CCM mounted and plugged in this weekend, that was actually really easy on my truck as like I found before, all the wiring was there from the bumper harness connector to the IPMA.
However I can't seem to communicate with the CCM at all and it doesn't show up as a module in Forscan at the moment. I have 12V and CAN voltage out at the CCM connector so I know it's hooked up all the way to the IPMA. I did get my CCM second hand and it's a little banged up so I wonder if it might be a paper weight. I even tried hooking up my advanced IPMA I have and same story. My neighbor just got a 402A to hopefully I can do some swapnostics with his.
Things did get pretty wonky when I did hook up that advanced IPMA as that came from a platinum with 360 cams, etc. So far on either IPMA when I have everything enabled I think I need, I get all the options to ACC and even IACC, but getting a pre collision warning not available when I turn too much on, so hopefully having the CCM online will sort most of that out.
Can you post or message me what Forscan changes you made to enable your ACC and everything? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious as it seems quite a few addresses need to be changed across multiple modules. TIA
My wires are populated all the way out to the CCM connector, as I'm getting 12V power and both CAN+/- voltage like I said at the C1897 connector. And like you said if these wires go straight to the IPMA, there shouldn't be anything else feeding those voltages that I'm aware of from another module/source.Hi, the changes are really needed for the module to be seen.. If the module is not seen in Forscan you need to delete all your profiles and rescan anytimee you add a module and select the existing profile it doesnt scan for new modules.
Thanks, that's what I figured. I bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered a new CCM as I'm pretty sure my bargain one is toast. So hopefully will have it by the weekend to play around with. After playing with it today, I thought it would work as an IPMA code meaning stating a short with the CCM was active until I got it all plugged in, then I got it to go away after plugging it all in. However today the same code seemed to come and go randomly at times when I would read the DTCs, so pretty sure it's no good.Doesnt need to be enable to be seen in forscan
