I’m tired of waiting for the Tesla adapter that’s free and never shows up. I saw an earlier post that recommended 2 but I can’t find the thread anymore. Can anyone make a suggestion? Thanks.

A2ZEV’s Typhoon Pro or Lectron Vortex also. Stay away from the cheaper knockoffs.

I just got my replacement Typhoon Pro from A2Z. Comparing it with the "free" Ford adapter and the original Typhoon adapter. I wholeheartedly recommend the Typhoon Pro. Of all the adapters I've seen, it seems to be the best built and most ergonomic to attach/detach from both side. Plus the company has been outstanding with this silly recall that has been forced on them.

Stay tuned. Someone will post a discount code for the A2Z adapters.

Many folks here have that adapter and it serves them well.

Watching Tom’s State of Charge Video, sounds like you could swing by a Nissan Dealership and order their “kit” for the Aria and get it next day or a few days and have the Tesla adapter. 🤷‍♂️

I’m the new owner of a 2022 lightning. Ford online store has been sold out obviously. This conversation really helps! Going to check into this Nissan thing and then move onto the Typhoon Pro.
I would love to have the Ford issued one, but it seems like it is impossible.

The adapter produced by Tesla is so janky that I wouldn't pay actual cash money for it.
As a FREE adapter, sure, fine, but it's not well made and feels like Tesla squeezed every last penny of margin out of it. Heck, it doesn't even come with a protective case.

A2ZEV makes the Typhoon Pro adapter for Tesla SuperChargers. It sells for $185.00. They also sell the Stellar adapter, which is for Tesla Destination chargers (such as hotels, private homes). It sells for $109. If you buy both, you get a package discount - $266.75 vs. $294. They are currently shipping quickly. I have both adapters and have used both many times. They work great. https://a2zevshop.com/products/nacs-ccs1?ref=Typhoon&variant=43186507579592

I ordered the A2Z typhoon pro And the Tesla destination a few months ago. I have nothing to compare it to yet, but the pro seems very solid and I have used it a couple times with no issues. I have not used the destination charger yet. One of the things I really like is that they come with a case so I just keep them in my net in my frunk.

I would say A2Z, TeslaTap > Lectron, OEMs. From what I've read, not from experience. I've only tried the OEM one once.

Ford F-150 Lightning Aftermarket NACS Adapters - best recommendations? chademo

I just watched this video. I can't believe the size and cost of the CHAdeMO adapter for the Leaf. Glad I don't need this thing.
