Almost every time I leave it charging overnight I get this warning: "Electrical System Drain Service Required"

Did you get the 12v battery sensor CSP done?

I've gotten that warning about 5 times now, I think one was after the battery sensor fix as well so that didn't fix it. In general it occurs when I let the charge get low (under 30%) and I don't plug it in overnight. I just ignore the warning and haven't had any issues.

that’s a great question! I can’t remember which things I’ve gotten any longer lol. I’ll see if I can check the records

Related but off topic.

I used to charge my Tesla overnight outside, as charger was $250. But Ford’s is $500 so that’s some expensive copper to leave unattended with metal scrapper thief’s running around town.

So point is, I never charge overnight, and don’t charge in garage per 1/1,000,000 chance it shorts out. 😵💫

I received this message overnight for the first time ever after charging from 60 to 90%. It is super cold here so I’m wondering if that’s the reason why? Anyone else have this recurring issue and is it OK to ignore?

Check your 12v battery, if it still had a good charge then you should be fine. If it keeps getting low, I'd ask the dealer to make sure the HVB is still charging it. Possible that the battery may be going bad as well, maybe stop by AutoZone and have them verify it's still good.

As the first Lightnings approach and then exceed 3 years of age, we are going to see more and more 12V battery failures. Just a fact of life.

Thanks! Yeah car scanner app still showing 80% LVB SOC and have not seen the error since super cold temps yesterday.

The AZ summers eat 12v batteries like popcorn. I fully expect mine to need replacing this summer.

If you have any aftermarket 12v accessories, like a dashcam with parking mode, the truck is seeing the unexpected 12v draw and giving this message. My 2022 Pro did it after I added a radar detector with the Dongar mirror plug, my 2024 did it this weekend after I added a dashcam and radar detector that pull power from the ODB2 plug.
