I have been using this on the Mach E and also the Lightning. Works very well, a foolproof design and folds into a handkerchief size.

I 3D printed one that fits over the whole area. Even designed a 'cap' to cover the unlock button to go with it. Cost less than $5 in plastic and about 30mins to design the cap in CAD.

Totally disagree!

I've carried a heat gun in my frunk the last two winters in Michigan and never had to use it. $90 seems expensive unless there's a clear, ongoing problem.
