I'd love to see that load calcI believe it will support up to 100A. But not here, as I don’t have 80A of power available. My 400A service is pretty much maxed out at this point. So 60A breaker and 48A max charge it is.
you talking over my head. You mean how I’m using up the 400A?I'd love to see that load calc
Yeah. The calculation the electrician did on your existing service to determine the max charge rate he could set you at.you talking over my head. You mean how I’m using up the 400A?
Dunno. I requested the largest possible breaker. They did an eval and came back with the 60.Yeah. The calculation the electrician did on your existing service to determine the max charge rate he could set you at.
Doesn’t matter. The maximum your 2024 can charge at is 48A. Your installation supports that so all is good.Dunno. I requested the largest possible breaker. They did an eval and came back with the 60.
My neighbor runs a large electrical contractor. I asked his opinion and he said ‘yeah you are pretty much maxed out.’
I’m not educated enough on all this to speak to it much more. There’s tons of electrical load here, i do know that.
Why is that, tell me about it. Sounds like you know everythingYou'd be mistaken.
I doubt your running 400 amps all at same time. I would of opt for 80amp breaker, change the wire to #4 awg and #8 awg ground.Dunno. I requested the largest possible breaker. They did an eval and came back with the 60.

if I’m limited to 48A then that would serve no purpose, right?I doubt your running 400 amps all at same time. I would of opt for 80amp breaker, change the wire to #4 awg and #8 awg ground.
for your truck you cant, but i dont know if you have other ev cars in house that can benefit from itif I’m limited to 48A then that would serve no purpose, right?
ah gotcha. Nope. Just the truck.for your truck you cant, but i dont know if you have other ev cars in house that can benefit from it
Yes, how? What are your big loads?how I’m using up the 400A?
