Just got my CSP installed inside garage on 100A breaker in sub-panel. The charger cuts out after a few minutes (between 3 and 8) when pulling about 75A. Sometimes the charger will flash a white light. Sometimes it goes dark. In either case I have to reset the breaker to restore operation. Measuring voltage at the charger after it cuts out, I'm getting 120V on one leg and about 115V on the other. I've bypassed the sub-panel, switched out breakers, re-connected all wire connections with no improvement. Just today I opened a ticket with Ford, which they escalated. Just wondering if anyone here has any ideas. Thanks for the help

Forgot to mention that after my initial setup with Wifi, I can no longer see the station on the network even after a factory reset.

All fasteners torqued correctly?

The White light flash, is the unit resetting, I usually see this every morning after unplugging after a charge session has completed.

It's normal for the FCSP wifi broadcast to go into Invisible mode after successfully binding to a host network.

Usually the first day that the FCSP is online, it's sent a few patches to bring the firmware / software up to date, power cycle the unit each morning for a couple of days.

Do you know what version you have currently, visible in the setup app or in the Fordpass app under Account, Charge Station, Connected Charge station tile, Settings drop list.

Mine is not up to date because of a stall update process that might be related to an outage on the Siemens or Ford cloud that may not be resolved until next week.

My version appears in the FordPass app as offline, version 2.112.91:2.149:1.32:1.53:0.62.
Even after the factory reset I'm not able to connect to it and do not see the Network ID when I power up the charger.

I have the same version. I can connect to it through the setup app, but not FordPass. And it decided to reset itself back to 80 amps.

Dial it down internally to 48a and see if it fails again.

The charger is wired per the specs. I was able to charge at 64A for about an hour before it cut off. Today I started 5 on the dial and increased to 6 after 10 minutes, then increased to 7 after about 5 minutes. Once it went to 7 it cut off within a minute. Same power symptom with one leg at 120V and the other around 115V.

What does your voltage read on each leg when not charging?

My guess is that there is something wrong with the FCSP. Such as a bad solder joint or cracked circuit board.
Just out of curiosity, does those voltage measurements match the values if you measure at the panel? What are the measurements while it’s charging?

When the unit is reset, I get 120VAC on each leg. Same when charging. Only when it cuts out do I get a lower voltage on 1 leg.

Yes the voltage matches regardless of where I measure it. I get 240VAC while charging.

I think that‘s further evidence that the problem is internal to the FCSP.
