After I saw @TaxmanHog post, I checked my Ford order page status and noticed the production / build date moved up 1 month!

Last week it was 7/11/22.
Today it's at 6/13/22.

Looks like Ford is ramping up production !

Whoo hoo!

Very cool news!
Looks like the Lariat SR are slotting in at 6/13 - which color did you order ?

Which wave was your order at ?

Mine was wave #6 - ordered 4/12, dealer order signed 4/20, production build went from 7/11 to 6/13.

Getting sooo excited! o_O

I know that the scheduling is all about Ford managing supplies/shipping for optimizing production and delivery efficiency and with the lightning there are limited build configurations/colors. With all that in mind it just seems not-right that some people who ordered in January are scheduled after people who ordered in late April, like they are cutting the line. Also, complaining about, or even saying anything about it feels like you are being spoiled (at least you got to order and will get your truck...just wait three or four months, instead of one or two).

Yes, I know how you feel - I would feel the same.

Just know that as a wave 6 order invite I really wanted the XLT trim but could not order it due to them running out for MY22.

I knew that by ordering the base SR Lariat with no option I stood a better chance at getting an order built and delivered.

It was my hypothesis - let's see if it comes to fruition.

Short story:
Lariat SR
Wave 3 invite truly ordered 3/30
Atlas blue(switched it from antimatter by mistake but ultimately glad)
Max tow package
Blue cruise active

Long story time:

I was wave 3 so I was given the opportunity to Order 2/3 my original dealer had no msrp listed and I sent the order that day. Then they call and want to talk about the order a few days later and want over msrp. Before they accepted the order I had them reject the order and switch dealers same day as they seemed shady after that exchange plus why pay over msrp…. The new dealer had said that they see the order but cannot accept it due to some technical complications Q waiting over a month and many calls to ford which resulted in nothing being done. I had the dealer call their ford Zone rep and a gaggle of people got involved then it got done 3/30 where they effectively allowed me to just rebuild my order.

While the early order might not come out first, they at least got the chance to order a Pro or XLT. Many would trade delivery dates to get the trim they really wanted.
