I am going to try the BDI commissioning tomorrow. I know it wasn't done, as a local contractor did the install.

ive been trying to get them to warranty my charger for a year now. they keep telling me an update will be out... for a year...Chiming in also. My HIS has been installed for two years and has never worked. I was so frustrated I gave up for a little bit. I just started calling Ford BEV group last week for some help. My charger never once came online, they sent me a new one that I installed Monday. I now have a communicating charger that is linked for Fordpass and the truck for the first time, but the HIS is not linked. I get to the PIN screen in the truck, but no PIN comes up on the app. BEV sees the charger, and it is updated. I would NEVER have dropped the coin in to this HIS had I known it is a brick. Sunrun is no help, I could have installed a great, reliable Generac for less. I would have no issue joining a suit.
how do you reset the trucks modem? This happened to me, too. I will try to remember what I did to get it to work. I know I had to get the right rear seat area of the truck within about 4’ of the charger, then open the right rear door and fold that seat down (the truck’s Bluetooth is there). I also reset the truck modem a few times.
we had this 2 years ago for installation.Ford BEV sent this to me, I will study it tonight.

with the truck on, push and hold the “right seek” button and the volume-down button on the steering wheel till the touch screen goes black.how do you reset the trucks modem?
This only resets the screen. It does nothing to reset the modem. Pulling fuse 32 is supposed to work. I actually pull the cable from the modem but don’t really suggest others do that.with the truck on, push and hold the “right seek” button and the volume-down button on the steering wheel till the touch screen goes black.
Ah. Well, I did the “reset” I described above based on the over-the-phone instructions of a Ford rep, and it seemed to help. This only resets the screen. It does nothing to reset the modem.
