Complimentary / Free Tesla Adapter -- When Did You Buy Your Truck and Place Your Order?

Please forgive me if this topic is a repeat. I did a search and could not find the answer I was looking for.

I got my Lightning Lariat in March 2023, and reserved my complementary Tesla Fast Charging adapter in March 2024 - which was pretty shortly after they first became available. Every month since then, my estimated ship date goes to the next month. Right now it's showing September 2024, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

I called the 1800 number and was told that the last five (or six) digits in my order number is my place in the queue - so I'm a little past 49000th place in line. The guy I spoke to said he believes the last orders filled last month were somewhere around 17000. Looks like it's going to be a while.

Anyway, my question: For those of you who have received your complementary Tesla Fast Charging Adapter, when did you buy your truck, and when did you place your order? I trust what the guy said, but I kinda want to verify it too.

When you bought has zero to do with the delivery date. How long after the order banks opened on ( Edited: Feb 29th) is the key. First come first shipped.

I ordered 4/2/24. I am a little past 86400, order said expected September 2024. I was never a believer. The A2Z got me from CA to NY & back.

They have shipped under 7,000. Early June was last shipment, rest of June shipments, July, and August moved to September.

Near impossible that September will ship over 40,000 orders...

Everybody that has received the Ford/Tesla adapter ordered it within 4 hours after the announcement. Those who ordered in 4,140 hours since then are still waiting.

I ordered the adapter the on 2/29, morning they opened up the ordering process. I was number 5000. I just got mine last month.

i was at a Tesla supercharger location yesterday charging my Tesla. A Rivian pulled up. I got out and talked to him. He got his adapter last week and the EA location he usually charges at were all off line.

I explained to him that the Tesla location he was at was a V1 site and wouldn’t charge anything other than a Tesla. I told him where the nearest Super Charger site that could charge a non-Tesla was.

I don't think that's true. Both of my orders are numbered 10XXX, and the adapters aren't anywhere near in sight.

Definitely not true. Nothing was filled last month and my order is in the low 8000's with nothing to show for it yet. I bought the A2Z, glad I did. Used it 3 times so far and I love it. I had originally thought I'd sell it once I get the Ford adaptor, but now I think I'll keep it as a back up/spare.

My order # is 6735 and I still haven’t received mine. Good news is I haven’t needed it yet. My next planned road trip will be for Thanksgiving. Hopefully I get it before then as having will make a big difference.

I just checked and you are correct. I ordered mine 2/29/24 and I received mine on 6/17/24
