This isn't about customizing a build, it's about literally not being able to put together the information to be able to officially install the controller as a dealer-installed option. Dealers LOVE this sh*t and make tons of money on these options. Search around and there are dealers charging in the $600-$700 range to install the controller in ICE models when it's a $200 part (retail) and a 15 minute install. Plus the manufacturer, Ford, makes additional profit off of the part sales.Not incompetent, it's intentional.
All manufacturers don't want to waste time and money customizing every single vehicle.
Only the incompetent walk away from a free money buffet.
