Delivery-- where does deposit show up on the purchase order?

I had the same experience - my dealership didn't have easy access to the records for deposit and I had to show my Ford order online plus I gave them the date of the credit card charge for $500.

OMG, I had the exact same issue.

Yesterday, the dealer sales manager kept arguing with me on the $100 price protection for D&D.
I showed him at the time of order, it was $1695 and they showed $1795 after they entered into the ROVP/COVP.

How did you get original $1695 price? I never receive any email from Ford or dealer to confirm order and/or price. Need to find if I saved a screenshot, probably negative.

I ordered on 4/23, and the online count shows $1795 for me. They sent an email but no details. I may have a screenshot but cannot find it...

I saved the order page as a PDF which had the original destination charge. My dealer didn't care. I was able to argue a card for a free full detail service out of it which is better than nothing, I suppose, but $100 can buy a lot of soap and tire dressing.

I think that may have been after the price increase. My order was done on 2/17.

It shows something like a snapshot in time of all offers, incentives, private offers from Ford, and pricing in effect on the day of the order. There may be a better way to explain it, but that's close.

Nothing like that. When I was done arguing with them I mentioned that stuff like this is why people don't like buying cars from dealers, and I would certainly be shopping around for a dealer that does not surprise me with pricing when it's time for my next vehicle. As a new customer I told them that it was a shame they weren't interested in earning any customer goodwill or loyalty for what amounts to a very small percentage of the purchase price.

But then life it too short to complain about $100....
