I didn't notice a difference at night between 10% or 100% when I did mine.
It does in fact work but what we were thinking was the DRL being the lightbar is incorrect, the DRL values that are changing are actually
The light in the middle
Of the top and bottom headlights. The lightbar does not get any brighter than it is unfortunately.

I tested last night after setting the DRL's back to 10% and no one flashed their highbeams at me. Seems to have worked. I don't think the DRL's were blinding anyone, I think it gave the impression my highbeams were on and I wasn't dimming them.
Yeah I think that on our Lightnings the DRLs (at least on my trim) are the small rectangular lights in between the top and bottom LED projectors in each headlight. Makes sense that when their brightness is increased they would appear as small high beams, especially when cresting a small rise on the road.

I didn't notice a difference in those either a while back when I tried it. Left was 10% and right 100%

It didn’t “take” right the first time I attempted it too but it is 100% the light that those values are changing

Thank you for the research! I have updated post 1.

In general I find overly bright running lights to be worse than many lights. Above the cutoff there is surprisingly little light, maybe a lux or three at 200 feet. But that is a focused beam. The running light being unfocused, diffuse, makes the brightness to other drivers increase rapidly

Could I respectfully make a suggestion for the first post? I know it will be a bit of work to do this, but if you hide the specifics of each modification under a Spoiler tag, it will keep that first post cleaner and easier to read for someone looking for a specific modification.

Example for the first several modifications:

only works on the front windows because one-touch is not enabled in the back windows.

The swiveling (dynamic bending) lights continue to work with these settings. May take a couple of restarts to take effect. Settings were adapted from this F150gen14 ICE forum thread.

Added a mod to enable Silent Mode. This is sometimes referred to Dark mode, Police mode, campground mode, etc. However there is a difference between true Dark Mode and Silent Mode (hint: dark mode is too dark!). See this post on the ICE forum. Also thanks to @SpaceEVDriver for his post here.

Assumes current value is "C". If "E", change to "F".

This will enable a toggle on Sync so you can turn this on/off easily:

Ford F-150 Lightning F150 Lightning FORScan thread - Version 2 1735840923711-0h

You can also use "easy mode". Under APIM and BdyCM search for "silent" and enable all options as shown in the screenshots here:

APIM:

BdyCM:

The first line is the same as changing 726-28-02 to "01". The remaining 5 lines match each "01" in 726-25-02.

I didn’t either, but apparently, oncoming traffic seems to have noticed. If I still get highbeam flashes from oncoming traffic I will assume Glare Free is the culprit.
It should not be. I’ve never had anyone flash me with glare free enabled for the last 4 months. I’m betting it’s the DRLs.

In regards to the Lincoln auto folding mirrors. Do the puddle lights work now? That was an issue in the ice f150s that if you enabled it then puddle lights did not work.

Some of the mods in the spreadsheet below work on the lightning, some don't or have to be altered in some way. Be careful.

Thanks for the camera one. I'll check it out. The spreadsheet you embedded looks like Livinup's. I posted a link to it in post 1. I always vet each mod against that spreadsheet. Many of the parameter bytes can control 4 functions (e.g. "F" = binary "1111") so you can't willy-nilly change to one specific value. I take that into account and where applicable give instruction on what the value should be based on the current value so you don't inadvertently lose functionality.
