Actually, the Ford Power Pro Promise states the charger and QMerit install (no more SunRun)are the current promo: Home is Where the Charge is: It’s simple. Buy or lease a retail Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning or E-Transit and take a complimentary home charger with you or have it delivered, and when you’re ready, an expert comes out to install it at no charge for a standard install. This takes the guesswork out of installation, including costs, to help you save time and money by filling up at home. Less stress, more convenience. If you’re a Ford Pro fleet customer, we have you covered with a commercial charging cash incentive.

That said, I bought my Lightning in Oct and haven't seen it yet. I am escalating with a Ford customer service rep who is pressing on the dealer--so far, to no avail.
Thread is from JUNE. It's now DECEMBER. Ford Power Promise was launched 9/30/24. Therefore, no install is taking place for OP.

Man, just read through this whole thread and I do feel for the OP in many ways... Hopefully you got some sort of resolve there.

Ford allows you to take a $2,000 rebate instead of the charger and after seeing this, I'm glad I did that. Of course, I already had a 50 amp service for a welder in the garage. I would love to have the 80 amp Ford Charge Station Pro but I don't actually need it. I was out $300 for ChargePoint Home Flex from my power company and another $50 for a high traffic NEMA 14-50 outlet. If you have infrastructure already, there is money to be saved here.

You do know that your Flash has a max AC charge rate of 48 amps, right? Many of us wonder why Ford continues to push the FCSP for 2024‘s when they can’t take advantage of its full capacity (except for special order fleet trucks).

I did not know that! I suppose I’m even more content with the choice then.

Strange indeed they would continue to push it for anyone not getting setup with bi-directional.

Yes, that was a major change for 2024. Previously the SR trucks had a single onboard charger (48A) and the ER trucks had dual onboard chargers (80A). They decided to go to single for all trucks in 2024.

The exception is if you’re a fleet buyer buying a Pro trim, there are fleet options for an ER battery and dual charger. Neither option is available to regular folk.

This is one reason why many of us recommend taking the cash and getting a good 48A charger.
