Ford dealer has not set up my free home charge coupon.

I purchased a 2023 F150 Lightening from Jackson Ford in Decatur IL back in April. Their finance manager has been telling me for six months that he would set up the free charger paperwork! I mentioned my lawyer and now now they won't take my calls! I spoke to Ford Customer Care and was told that they can't do anything for me. I have to go through the dealer; which will not take my calls!
Any ideas!

Never buy a vehicle from Jackson Ford, or any other dealership in the Jackson Auto Group!

All and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have your lawyer handle your communication going forward. Good luck getting your charger.

Don’t make idle threats. They did what any business would do when lawyers start to get involved, cut contact and have all contact go through the lawyers.

You escalated, now follow through. In the meantime, make sure to rate them on Yelp and Google Maps and any other tools and share your honest and factual experience. That’s helped me out in the past. Most dealerships have someone that cares about their reputation.

Thanks for the advice. I am following through. My lawyer is backed with a family crisis. So, I am contacting other attorneys. I am a Detroit Union Democrat Street Fighter! We don't take $h!t from no body!. They will be sued! MARK MY WORDS.

I do not know what a Democrat Street Fighter is but it seems to me the issue could be resolved by going to the dealer and having a civil conversation with the general manager.

Your attorney's fees are going to cost more than the cost of a charger.

The charger is not the only issue. They owe us almost 6,000.00 for sales tax. They were required to forward the tax money to the Michigan Secretary of State. They screwed up and did not pay the tax! The tax is in the loan so it belongs to us not the dealer!

Pretty sure it belongs to the state’s Treasury and not you. And how do you know they have not paid it? Maybe they have a remittance period that they make the payments collected? Maybe like most governments entities, it is still being processed to your specific tax liability?

I sense lots of anger and frustration and little facts for any of us to give you any sympathy.
