You're a rare case by having access to that. Very few have that kind of dealer experience. You need to take the rose colored glasses off.
No I don't, because I never had them on. I was very clear in the message you quoted that "hopefully this is an experience more people get...".

Which indicates I am aware it is rarely that easy for most people. I have helped friends and family over the years deal with dealerships when it came to negotiating the price, I know what it can be like.

You won't find them if you follow the links for the "employee pricing" sale.
Ah okay, I didn't think it would take you to different inventories just on the sale. Hopefully more details/rules are released on what qualifies and in cases like that maybe what doesn't.

I just looked at X-Plan pricing on the fordpartner site. It looks like they removed ALL incentives for all Plans AXD etc. Last month I got $3,350 discount AND $21,615 in rebates/incentives on my leased 2024 Lightning Platinum. The same vehicle today show a $1,000 INCREASED lease payment from $550 to $1,550 with zero down.

The only programs remaining were the $615 incentive for 3 year BlueCruise and the $1,000 incentive if you donā€™t take the charger which they reduced to $500.

Hopefully the web site hasnā€™t caught up with the offers.

Thereā€™s usually a delay in getting the new month offers loaded onto Ford.com so maybe give it another day or two before stuff shows up?

Yeah, that's fairly typical at start of the month. They are usually a bit slow to update it with new incentives, even though if you talked to a dealer they should be able to pull them all up.

That said, it wouldn't be entirely surprising if they pulled back on the hood incentives aside from private offers and that.

Dealer situation will rarely be perfect, but if Ford runs this like A plan or D plan or whatever the final numbers are, it will still be a good deal for most people and potentially keep some dealers from their worst intentions.

I have been buying on A plan for years and years. My dealer transactions are hilariously easy. My Lightning I was in and out of the dealer in 30 minutes when I came in to do the paperwork. No hidden items, upcharges, any of it. No pressure for extended warranties or service plans. Just a literal sign and drive. Hopefully this is an experience more people get through this program, but time will tell.
I agree with this 100%!

What makes me think it won't run like A/Z/X is that you have to have a relationship with Ford prior to making the deal and that's a big part of what makes it work. When you show up with your plan code the dealership doesn't have many ways to upsell you (they can still add dealer accessories) so the process is simple. I'm guessing there won't be an equivalent code but hopefully Ford set up a process to remove most of the tomfoolery.

Agreed, I will remain hopeful but I am sure Ford will not want to upset dealers, so probably not as restrictive as A/X plans are on what dealers can do.

But, and I know this is a bit naive maybe, hopefully most dealers are considerate of the situation and don't go overboard. The way some dealers handled the inventory issues from a couple years ago indicates otherwise. Especially in markets where Ford dealers are less common and they know someone would have to drive two hours to get to another one.

All this talk about dealerships taking advantage, we need to see how Ford implements it. If it is actually equivalent to A plan pricing, the dealerships won't be able to "play games" with most things because A plan price is set by Ford, not the dealer. They also place limits on certain fees like doc fees and the like.

Dealerships can put stuff like rust protection or glass etching on if I recall, it's been a while since I went through all the plan rules, but you are also free to just not use that dealer. They can also "play games" on the financing side if you aren't careful.

My experience was like this too (although I did have to contact the regional manager for Ford to get the correct pricing on my 2023 Pro as I was grandfathered in at the 40k amount and I don't think the dealership understood how they would be paid for that). Just walked in, they went through the whole thing and asked if I wanted certain things, I declined, signed the paperwork and paid for the truck. Was out within a half hour and I've been going back for my services there ever since.

Iā€™ve been thinking about upgrading, which dealership would anyone recommend for a platinum or lariat trim. Donā€™t mind traveling either.

I know you may not want to get too heavy into details, but do you have a rough location where you are that you want to share?

I have dealers that have done well by us, even without plan pins, in at least Michigan and Indiana. Much more recent for Michigan.

Comparing a 2023 to a 2025 Lariat- looking at inventory within 500 miles of me for 2025, the Lariats do not have Max Tow or Pro Power 9.6kW. Likely because those pricey options push them over the 80K limit for the federal rebate.

Of course lot of other option differences between those years: heated steering wheel, homelink, heat pump, keypad, spare tire, etc. 2025's come with 1-year BC. So make sure you check the order guide.

Lots of 2025 loaded Platinums though.

Asking Ford dealership now if the Lightning is included, they are still jacked up prices on their websites.

Question being these two statements from Ford contradict each other. Is the Lighting included or just plug in hybrid?

ā€œDuring this period, shoppers will be able to save on

ā€˜2024 and 2025 hybrid, plug-in hybrid,ā€™

diesel and gas-powered Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The deal excludes the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs, the Raptors and Super Duty trucks.

Electric vehicle shoppers through Ford's Power Promise will also receive a complimentary home charger and standard installation through June 30, according to the announcement.

I am in New Jersey, have no issue traveling anywhere in the East or Midwest.
