Well part wise it’s pretty cheap so you’re not going to get hurt buying it. To pop the console down you want to use a trim tool and gently pry down on the 2 rear corners. It will give you enough room to get your fingers in there and just start at rear and move forward and it will pop down. Just don’t pry at front. Once down there should be a blue box there. It’s a dummy box. Just empty but the small wiring harness will be plugged into it.

And after the FORScan edits, controls at least to turn it on and off show up somewhere in the SYNC screen settings? The reason for turning it off might be leaving your wife or your dog locked in the truck while you pop into a store to get something. (I anticipate possible jokes about the last sentence! )

lol. Yes so once it’s installed and set up you will then under vehicle have a line for alarm. You choose that then you can have it set to ask if you want motion sensors on or off each time you turn off the truck or have it not ask each time. That’s the setting I have it on.

Can someone elaborate as to the required FORscan changes? Maybe I’m just missing them but I couldn’t find them in this thread nor on the site. I did find them elsewhere for the Gen14 ICE F150 but I assume those are not exactly applicable… thanks.
