FordPass app getting better…

I don’t know if anyone else has seen this or even if this is a new feature, but I took my lightning to discount tire to get a patch because I had a screw in one of my tires.
Received a notification from the FordPass app saying that TPMS had detected severely low pressure in a tire…
This was I assume when they had deflated the tire to take it off the rim and repair it.

Looks normal to me, though I haven't had the misfortune of a low tire pressure warning yet {knocking on wood now}

Last July when I took my truck to them for a nail, I got two FordPass notifications while in the waiting room - the inclination sensor alarmed (when they jacked up one side to remove tire) and a little later got loss of tire pressure alert.

I've gotten several 12v battery low notifications via the app when I left my lights on. The truck was basically begging for me to get back and plug it in. I must have got 5 or so warnings over the course of 2-3 hrs. After that, I feel pretty confident the truck will let me know when the 12v is giving up the ghost.

Correct. When you change your tires, you will get the same message.

My other car is a new Cadillac Escalade ESV with the 3L diesel engine. The GM app is so slow it's faster to call Pop-A-Lock to open the door than it is to use the app.

Sounds like you need to wrap a wire coat hanger to the underbody for emegencies.

I hope you didn’t let them charge you for programming the TPMS, because the truck does it for you! I get that programming pitch every time and make them take it off the bill.

I did not and would not! They actually did not charge me anything to patch the tire! I was shocked and pleased so shout out to discount tire!

Yesterday I got a Ford Pass notification that the doors had locked due to Walk away lock. I don’t ever remember getting this notice before.

Did you have walk away lock before? If not, then you must’ve gotten an update. It has always notified me in FordPass…sometimes even if I already locked the door…LOL

I’ve had 2 nails and 1 screw this past year…(in my truck tires lol). $20 a repair seems fair enough for plug/patch combination is whet I pay locally. I’ve seen that tpms message a little too often lol. Agree the ford pass app is how I was notified each time.
