How do I get back to center, I swear its not politics.

Help! Does anyone know if there is a fix to recenter this navigation screen. Dealer? Or is this just the way it is? So annoying.

Ideas...

1. Phone reset.
2. Sync reset. Press and hold volume down and skip ahead on your steering wheel until the center screen goes blank.
3. Slide the navigation screen with your finger then press the recenter button.
4. Do nothing, it will probably fix itself.

I thought in Android Auto the Sync screen is just projecting what the phone sends it. Does the map appear that way on your phone screen when not projecting?

Mine has a button that pops up when it is not centered that re-centers the screen.

I was going to suggest the same, maybe this display format cuts out the command button??

Try touching the screen, drag the map image up/down or left/right of center to trigger that recentering button to reappear.

Just a thought...
When you have a route programmed, the left side of the window has details like next turn, ETA, etc. And so the map "centers" the vehicle location within the remaining portion of the screen. Looks strange now because there are no tiled obscuring the left side of the map.

To be honest, I haven't used Android Auto that much. I used it all day today and came to the conclusion that they did it that way because of the information on the left, i guess.
