Nicely done!! Did you power brake or just hit it on green?

I need the limiter raised!
This is the kind of hack I'd like the FDRS tuner guys to investigate, not to be used and abused for regular driving, ie. [RACE MODE] that disengages after a key cycle

So you can blow up your motors from centrifugal forces? What is needed is a two-speed gearbox like in the Porsche Taycan. 😃

Not sure I understand how you hit speed limiter but were at 106 at the line. I thought speed limiter was at 120 mph. What am I missing??

12.26 @ 106
Prep was great with good traction
It hit the speed limiter well before the end of the run!
I need the limiter raised!

The speed is limited for the tires speed rating not motors and gears. 3-5 seconds over won't be a problem at all!

Taller tires would allow for the extra speed needed, but I really don't want to deal with that.

No, the speed is limited for both.

Maximum speeds for electric motors is a known factor that railway locomotive manufacturers have known about for many decades.

That said, a little over won't cause an immediate catastrophe but will reduce the life expectancy of components. This applies to everything from the weight limit of a bridge or elevator, to the voltage rating of an incandescent lamp, to the speed rating of an electric motor.

I’ve wondered if you took off the tailgate, pulled the rear seat, emptied the wiper-wash tank, maybe pulled the front passenger seat, ditched the spare, hacked the speed limiter, have your 100 pound friend drive, …could you get into the 11’s?

I removed the spare, the back seats, running boards, tailgate and rollup bedcover. I forgot to fold in the mirrors. Charge level was 95%. I ran 40 psi front and 45 psi rear. That's what it took to get a 12.26.
