Everyone (including me) rags on the FCSP. But I am now impressed.
After working 40 years in chemical process control and instrumentation, I would not believe ANY device could give that degree of accuracy.

The whole concept of properly using significant digits was lost when digital calculator use became widespread.

I studied engineering in the 70s. I had a calculator, but kept a slide rule in my pocket just in case…..

Always consumed enough alcohol to avoid constipation!

I was doing my weekly charging session today, pulling stat's and update spreadsheets, the geek in me hasn't retired yet....

I pulled up the FCSP Insights log, it appears @Ford Motor Company cleaned up the bad data after 10/13 record which was my last good information pull.

Subsequent days of energy use (charging or powered remote start / departure time) are now reflecting more accurate values with the extraneous decimal digits

The values post fix of the system are listed to the thousandths of a kWh.

Significant numbers are important & too many people pay more by clever advertisers.

This takes me back to Analytical Chemistry & propagation of uncertainty aka significant numbers on steroids.

Maybe they're using the increase in vehicle mass (hence weight) with the onboard scales to measure our state of charge. A quick calculation suggests that a full charge should increase the truck's mass by about 4 micrograms...
