Is there a way to get the update without WiFi? (USB, serial, etc). I gave up on trying to get it connected. My main WiFi is too far away, but even when I took an old AP and put it right next to the charger, it would not connect (wouldn't show up in the router DHCP table).

No, wifi is the only way ...... do you have another mobile device with shareable hotspot functionality?

You probably got the software update which implemented with the power cycling.

The charger worked flawlessly. First time I woke up to a fully charged vehicle. I did not hook to Wi-Fi, I may eventually try, but after it warms up in spring. LOL.

Overkill for a 24 since they max out at 48 amps but likely wasn't much cost difference for such a short run.

I think the MoCo has a huge warehouse filled with FCSP's they're trying to unload, for the majority of new truck installations a derated 48 operation on a 60 wire/breaker circuit is good and cost effective install, though this is installed with maximum capacity when older Lightning friends drop in for a charge LOL

No just use as a charger. This setup is what contractor installed.

The unfortunate disadvantage is that EVSE can never be used to charge any other EV/PHEV with the very common J1772 (only) or NACS port.
Just seems like the CCS plug would be less than ideal, if not DC fast charging or DC back feeding.
I wonder if a CCS to NACS adapter would allow a Tesla to Level 2 charge off that plug ?
That would be quite the contraption to plug in!

Commend your electrician for clean work.

Be patient with the configuration process......

I'd commend him for clear labeling. I wish anything in my house were labeled that clearly. Heck, I'd be happy if they'd just labeled the breakers that are no longer connected to anything.
