It is normal for the underside of the hood to not match. The paint is a three coat process. First a grey electrocoat then a primer and finally the top coat. The top coat is typically not sprayed onto all interior surfaces such as under the hood.My truck is ice metallic blue, but the underside of the hood is painted white. I've never seen that before on any other vehicle I have owned.
