I think I'd get baseline and techniques worked out unless you've done these a lot before.
I have decades of Fox Body racing experience. My '86 ran a best of 11.20. The local track has very few open friday night drags days now and you are lucky to get 2 runs in for the night :/ I bought a draggy and plan to use it between now and then to better my launch technique.

I plan to go to the Friday night drags next month. I am looking for ideas for the best run! I should arrive with a 99-100% charge. ER XLT

I plan to remove only for the night:
  • Tailgate
  • Bed cover
  • all mats
  • rear seats
  • running boards
  • spare tire
  • antenna
  • Fold in mirrors
I can't think of any other easy weight removal/drag items.
I won't gut the interior and will have a passenger so front seats stay.
I will replace everything after the track night.
Charge with low-calorie electrons.

I used to be a drag racer. My S10 ran high 9's in the quarter mile, and I can say that an extra 100 lbs cost me about 1/10 sec. That's in a 2400 lb vehicle. So rest assured that in a 6500 lb vehicle, 100 lbs might make .03-.05 sec difference. I don't think its worth the bother removing all those parts unless you're trying for a lowest possible ET. I had 6 people in my Lightning when I first got it, and it seemed to pull as hard as it does with just me in it!

*Uninstall the passenger for approximately double the weight savings...

YMMV if small woman or child ;)

If I were you... I would run it once without removing anything so you have a baseline. Then try removing all that to see if it even makes a different. Remember, the weight of those things may not actually be limiting anything since the power output is limited and manipulated by the computer first. If the bottleneck is the programming, you're not even reaching the point of weight being a factor.

Try traction control off. Might be quicker if track prep is good.

That is only true if it is limited due to traction. But for the same power, less weight = more acceleration.
