That’s exactly why I never used it. My wife’s Mach e has a button on the console that looks like ” lPl “. My last power boost had it too. When you push it, the navigation shows you where parking lots are. My guess is that was for the park assist. If so, shouldn’t they have put a coin holder there like they do when they don’t give you the trailer brakes with the tow technology package? 😂😂😂

Onboard Scales is a great feature. It tells me I'm overloaded and then I then I do nothing about it 😂
This is the way

I’m glad they are removing all these tech features. Let’s get a 90s level tech battery truck ;)

'24s do not have it.

AGHH!! I fell for this. Test drove '23s but wound up buying a 324 FLASH and thought it MUST have the garage buttons so never really checked and didn't realize until singed sealed and delivered siting in my driveway ready to program them and WHOOPS, not there!

If you have the lit mirror, adding it to the visor would cost $30 or less. I've done it on 3 Fords over the years.
How do you add Homelink to a visor for $30 or less?

I just clipped one of my small openers to the headliner in front of the visor. Works from further away than homelink anyway.

Buy a used Homelink like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1666055384...486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE

I haven't bought one in 6 years or so. Probably can find an entire visor for less.

Your visor SHOULD have a perforated area in the visor for it.

If you are interested, I have a pdf saved of the instructions, let me know.
Thank you, I hadn't thought of going to e-bay for used ones. I had found some kits on Amazon for about $150 and at that point I'll just install Tailwind (gotailwind.com) for automatic opening and closing like I have setup for my wife's Tesla after they dropped Homelink in favor of a subscription service for MyQ. We tried it on trial and it is super buggy and unreliable and will not work with a home with an automatic gate. Just flat confused the hell out of it.

I'd appreciate the pdf you have saved.

Correct. Both are moved to platinum.
The order guide on this site does not list either of those features for the Platinum. On the first page it does say Active Park Assist has been deleted. Where did you see the 2024 got those?

Just a reminder on used units, some of the older ones do not support the Liftmaster or Chamberlain openers that have been manufactured since 2011 - ones with a yellow learn button. My wife’s 2015 Honda Pilot for example can’t control one of our openers. It was the last year of that generation so still using an older Homelink module. I had to buy a bridge device for about $30 bucks and jump through a few hoops. The Homelink site has a compatibility checker.

Didn’t see it. Just heard it in a YouTube video a long time ago. Maybe that was wrong.

For homelink. It’s an easy add especially in a lariat since it already has power for the lighted mirror. Get a new visor and take out old one and plug in new one and that’s it. Program homelink and done. On my XLT I had to bring power up to the visor which was not too hard. If I remember the homelink visor was around $250 new.
