Any news on the next Sync update... looking forward to Ford pushing their tech experience and push some user experience requests to the real world.

That all depends on where you are at now? What version, last Power Up do you have? There are a few out right now, some are stuck and we are waiting on them. I believe the last sent out is 3.4. If you have that one, we hope one of the next gives us PAAK.

I wouldn't pin your hopes on frequent or substantive updates. Take a look at the Mach-e forums.
Yeah, I am still waiting for 3.4 after a month!

Don't know if I should take it to the dealer for the update - I really wanted to try out the "new" 1PD.

Some Mach-e folks were (and a fews till are) waiting 18+ months for Blue Cruise.

How can I check what.version I've got?

Well, let's hope once some more trucks get on the road ford can get a little more competitive on the tech side.

Sync updates are very rare. Module updates are more frequent.

From the truck center stack, vehicle symbol, look for the section controlling schedule updates, just below that will be "Update Details"

BlueCruise map updates are just that. That's all they update.

You cannot check to see what version you are at with anything but Sync, or the BlueCruise maps. The most recent OTA update (non-Sync) may in fact show when you do as @TaxmanHog says, but that WILL disappear at some point and just tell you that you are current. In fact, you may not be "current", as that message simply means that no updates are currently queued up for YOUR truck.

In addition, the display of the most recent received update does not mean you are current, because you're under the misconception that all vehicles get the updates in the same sequence, i.e. 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, ... As has been shown with Mach-E owners, the updates can be received out of sequence. And a vehicle that was produced in June of 2022 may receive different updates than a vehicle produced in June of 2021, yet both are in fact "current".

Ford is planning a major update for the Mach-E in October. No idea if that will also be for the F-150L or not.

It is true that the notification on FORD PASS disappears after a period of time. All Ford Pass says at this point is that I have no active alerts with a green check mark over a green circle, and "You have no active alerts", previously this showed a summary of the most recent update.

The snap shot in post 9 was from the trucks Sync screen, showing version 3.4, this was done 8/16.

My truck updated sequentially from 3.1 over the course of 12 days from when I took delivery, this is what it showed on delivery day 8/4

But it is true that if anything updates it comes through a Power Up correct? Or are there updates passing through we don't know about?

My Sync screens says all updates are updated at 3.1.

A month connected to WiFi and still nothing.

I am going to take her into the dealership to find out why.
