OEM Kicker Subwoofer

I can't see how it wouldn't be an upgrade from the factory sub which is a 6x9 in a small, ported enclosure. The port is accomplished with a hole in the rear cab, so you have to plug that. I included a couple of links for reference.

Can you install yourself? That eBay listing says you have to have the dealer program it.

That’s the one I had installed at the dealer. I was not certain about DIY so I just had the dealer do it.

I just had this done in my '23 XLT. Now I have low phone volume issues. Everything else seems fine, but I am having to max out the volume when on a phone call. Any ideas?

I’m having the same issue and plan to research Forscan settings for a solution.

Thanks for the install instructions. I can't address the software myself, but I did email the tech support link provided in the documentation. We'll see if I get a response.

it was worth it. The wiring was there and no additional controls are added To the screen. The sound is significantly better just by adding the sub. my Next step is to check Forscan for any changes i can make in the Audio Control Module ( ACM) for the upgrade. You can save $200 if you install yourself.

did you ever get into forscan? I’m trying to configure my kicker subwoofer and I’m struggling…. I can’t get it to work

I picked up the ford accessories kicker subwoofer for cheap and had questions regarding the forscan values. It appears the default values for the acm are different than the ICE f150.
Changing the values in the 727-01-01-xxx* didn’t activate the subwoofer.
Does anybody have any experience changing the ACM values for this truck?
If anybody has enabled the subwoofer from the dealer what values does forscan show now?
Any help is appreciated. Starting to get worried that I wasted my money.

The last section of the instructions show what you need to change with FDRS, not ForScan. Were you able to do the FDRS changes?

I don’t have FDRS.
There are many posts with people successfully installing the kicker with an ICE-150 using forscan.
It appears that that ACM values may be different in the lightning compared to the ICE.

Possibly... But the first FDRS instruction is "Download ACM - Sound System Upgrade"... I don't think that is available in ForScan.

There is also an ACM PMI step (Programmable Module Installation).

In my very limited experience using both FDRS and ForScan, FDRS seems to get much "deeper" into the programming (I don't know what other words to describe it).
