I applied everything available via FDRS about a month ago and had this problem immediately thereafter. It took me weeks to figure out what to do.But the worst part is that I can't correct the problem now. When I go back to my setting (both in Fordpass and on the truck itself), it won't let me enter anything under ""target charge" or "preferred charge time" because my charge locations disappeared and I don't have the option of adding the location again. It has a message that I can add a location "after your first AC charge session," but I just finished charging at home, so I don't know what the problem is.
Any ideas on how to fix this glitch, or am I doing something wrong?
In the end it turned out using the menus in the truck, instead of in FordPass, let me add charging locations again. Unfortunately it is now hypersensitive to location and so I have to have my home charger added *twice* or it won't recognize it's at that location if I park in the space at the other end of the charge cord's reach. Also, the preferred charging time/level settings in the truck are basically unusable now because they've used some circle-shaped widget that is super laggy and doesn't reliably recognize where you've touched it or that your finger is moving. So I had to FIRST use the truck menus to add the charging locations and NEXT use FordPass to set the charge schedule and target
It is astonishing how bad Ford's UI software quality control is. I don't know how the kind of bugs that they routinely have in the app or the in-car UI software make it through test. They have a huge software organization and gigantic budgets, yet they seem unable to test properly to avoid regressions in functionality that is important to users and plainly exposed. Someone in the relevant team's management there should be out of a job - should have long ago and still should now.
