I have a May build Lariat Lightning. I have received both the 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 updates over the last two days. I still do not have PAAK. I have deleted and reinstalled the FordPass app without success. Of note: “Backup Start Passcode” now exists in my settings, but it is grayed out and I’m unable to set it. Anybody else with a similar situation or advice?
My PAAK came to my truck yesterday as a separate, priority (22-PU0929-BLM-UP) OTA…I’m still on 3.5.2 from 9/15…..

This is interesting. So there are many different types of OTA updates. There are Power-Ups that are numbered sequentially: 3.5.3>3.5.4. Then there are “Priority” Power-Ups. Buried in there are occasionally sync updates with a different numbering scheme. Anyone have any knowledge about the rhyme or reason for the rollouts of these updates? It seems so random from my perspective.

Gonna guess your 12v SoC isn't as high as they want it. Go drive around for a bit and try again
most of the attempts were immediately after a drive. I suppose I can do a longer drive.

The unofficial Android widget shows a 15V reading on the LVB.

Initially. I found I needed to complete that PAAK setup, including setting the new Backup Passcode, in the truck first, with both the phone and the key fob in the truck with me during the setup process. Following that, I was able to select PAAK in the app under Vehicle>>Features & Settings……….

My truck and app both say the update was successful, and I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but I don't see anything anywhere about setting up Phone as a Key. And where do I find this 3.5.2 or .3 or .4 that some of you are talking about?

I remember seeing Phone as a Key on the app before I picked up the truck, but it disappeared at some point.

Each of these updates seems to leave a different trail. The PowerUp 3.5.2 from 45 days ago left details on my Software Update screen. I could go back and read it every day until 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 came along. If you look at my truck, you'd have no idea if either of them had applied, the notes section is now blank on the SW screen.

However, if I got into FordPass on my iPhone, click Account in the upper right corner, then down to message center, I can go down through the messages and see there which versions were installed in the past.

I never received 3.2, 3.3 or 3.4 back in August. I got 3.5.2 in September I think it was, then I was one of the first to get 3.5.3 and 3.5.4, but now I still haven't received the PAAK update.

Not much way to understand and explain the rollout just yet. It seems all of them are still showing up on more trucks each day. I just wish there was a bit more consistency.

I’m on 3.5.4, I have uninstalled the app multiple times and still no PAAK. 🤷‍♂️

When I click on the messages I see an Update message for Aug 10, Sep 7, and Oct 28. But when I click on the Aug and Sep Update Details button, it gives me the Oct details! I'm wishing for more consistency, too!

This is the OTA update (22-PU0929-BLM-UP) I’m referring to that I had installed (yesterday) that enabled my ability to activate PAAK…
