I read thru the latest ABRP release update. The ABRP description is detailed in outlining screen what features were involved and the improvement. I don’t have my Lightning or Mach E and reading the posts here with the Ford release update details are to me insulting at best.

C’mon Ford. This is 2022 not 1984.

Ugh, the 3.4.0 update happened today, and either my wife driving the car with the 'spare' key, or the update (both happened today!) cleared out my saved radio presets

I also received 3.4.0. Looks like one pedal driving has changed, I updated half way home from my commute at a stop. I felt like in order to regen the accelerator has to be almost all the way released. Regen is not as abrupt as before.

Anyone else noticed this change?

Not that I noticed? But the real question is where can I find out exactly what updates have been done for future updates? I’d think it would be similar to when our phones have software updates and they tell you exactly the things are being updated. Does Ford put this info anywhere on the FordPass app?

You can't.

FordPass, and the vehicle, MAY show the latest update, but only for a period of time. That information will eventually go away, and it will say "Your vehicle is up to date". And that message is meaningless, because all it means is that there are no updates queued up for your truck.

A common misconception is that if you click on the Update Now button, that searches for all updates for your vehicle. It does not. That button will APPLY any downloaded but not applied update, i.e. if you turned off Auto Updates. Only updates that Ford queues up for your truck will be applied to your truck.

The updates notes range from non-existent to useless to sketchy. They don't provide anywhere near enough detail IMO.

I’m hoping they will create an update log on their website explaining the changes. Right now we are all getting updates at different times. This is me purely speculating, but it seems like “major” updates get a brief explanation (dual phones, etc) and the general “bug fix” updates are more vague.

The 3.4.0 update arrived yesterday for me, I suspect you probably received the same.

I did this update on Monday at about 5pm. Then plugged in at about 7pm well after the update had completed. My truck ignored the preferred charge max of 80% and charged all the way to 100%. I am hoping it was just a fluke. I called Ford and they had me delete my charge location and setup a new one. Wont know if that worked until tomorrow morning.

It tried pushing update yesterday, but I delayed to today. Was ready to take pictures of the Mach-E. No joy, just a regular update that I can't really tell what changed.

If the update is locking you out of driving (not all do), then it is updating something with the powertrain or HVB control modules.
