I always drive with 1PD off, and today really noticed how much smoother my coasting is, as in less regen. Seems they dialed back the aggressiveness of the regen for both 1PD and non-1PD modes.

This is the same problem that many of us have had on this 3.4 update. Going to your settings and set it up for automatic updates everyday and connect it to Wi-Fi. Doing both of those should help. Mine finally took on the 3rd attempt.Software update is pending. This doesn’t seem to install, and the app says the update needs to be scheduled but I can’t get onto a schedule screen.
If you go back a page or two I posted information on how to correct your screen so you can get the schedule and automatic updat button back.Software update is pending. This doesn’t seem to install, and the app says the update needs to be scheduled but I can’t get onto a schedule screen.
Hi David, I tried your method twice already. No luck yet….. I’ll try again later. If you go back a page or two I posted information on how to correct your screen so you can get the schedule and automatic updat button back.
Oh that stinks. Maybe call support and ask for a OTA support person. That's who helped me. Maybe I missed a step.Hi David, I tried your method twice already. No luck yet….. I’ll try again later.
I've seen other posts where you change everything to metric in your settings then change it back to imperial and it should fix the issue.Same issue!
So you note you did the same thing as @davidf01. David had a very specific problem where he didn't have the auto update and scheduling buttons. Are you noting you didn't have them either and this procedure fixed those, or you did this procedure regardless and then you magically got the update? Just trying to separate the problems.Software update Successful.
I got instructions from Ford chat…. Same procedure that davidf01 used.
First I would like to preform a Key Cycle. To perform a key cycle:
1. Power off the vehicle (remove the key from the ignition if it is not a push to start). 2. Open the driver's side door.
3. Lock the doors then close the door.
4. Wait 2 minutes.
5. Start the vehicle.
I followed this procedure and it failed to update. Next day, today, I tried it again. I wasn’t at home, I wasn’t connected to Wi-Fi. I was still getting an error of “settings change required” but it did proceed to install the update, see attached photos. All of these settings were already in the on position. I rebooted Sync and then it displayed “update successful”.
Trying to trigger this update tonight I reset several modules using Forscan, including APIM and the Gateway. Nothing happened in the truck. Just a bit ago I opened my app to see that it tells me I have an update waiting, holy heck.No big alarms just yet, but something is definitely amiss with the updates after 3.1. @Jesse-Infotainment looked at a couple of things for me on my truck the last couple of days. One thing he noted was that I had the APIM downloaded and should be ready to update. Nothing I do in my truck or app will let me know that a download happened and my Update button is greyed out. I can't force start it.
For the previous posters, I drive it most every day, I've charged a few times, I lock it, I even did the routine waiting two minutes. Nothing gets me a SW install. I've rebooted multiple times.
I know several are waiting on it, no guarantee yours has downloaded, but seems likely it has, so I'm hoping Ford hasn't screwed it up like the did the 1.7.1 release in the ICE trucks. I guess only a little more time will tell
