I had the same issue. However once you tie the key used (key fob) and the cell phone used (Add Phone under user profile) and PaaK, it will recognize who started the truck. If you have a Lariat+, you can load your profile by pressing the memory recall button associated with your profile. I instinctively do that when remote starting both our Lightning and Mach-E because Ford can't figure out how to fix getting the Guest profile after a remote start.
If the issue you are talking about is the distance not resetting, the fix is not in this update. It was bundled with some other stuff that got delayedSince I'm stuck on 3.5.2 since Sept 7 could someone tell me if 4.1.1 fixes stupid crap like the image below. Or is that corrected with the DTE update?![]()

When I remote start and get in, it doesn't automatically load my profile. Same with my wife's Mach-E. Doesn't matter whose key or phone we have on us. It automatically goes to Guest. That points to a software problem.I had the same issue. Yes, and I don't doubt it. However I had the same issue, and in order for me to "fix" it, I had to be sure to add my phone to my profile, and my key. I thought by doing the PaaK would add it, but it didn't and I had to go though more steps. When I remote start and get in, it doesn't automatically load my profile. Same with my wife's Mach-E. It did this randomly on my 2021 ICE truck too.
Is your phone close enough that it's connected through Bluetooth? That is the common thing with mine.I've got my phone tied to my profile and when remote starting and getting in to drive I've not ever had the truck fail to have my profile set. I use the exit settings too, so I know when I last exited the truck the seat slides back and the wheel moves up and out of the way. I get in and press start, everything slides back into place for my profile.
When I remote start mine, I am not in BT range. In the AM, if I noticed it has not pre-con, I normally ask Alexa to start the vehicle. Is your phone close enough that it's connected through Bluetooth? That is the common thing with mine.
If my phone is connected to the truck with Bluetooth and I start it, like I do in the morning before my commute, my profile loads. When leave work and am in the plant, far away from the truck, the truck has the Guest profile loaded up and I have to hit the memory button on the door to load it.
Used the seat memory button today after a remote --- remote start session, it worked perfectly, no fumbling through the menus to pick my profile!!Those are the buttons I was referring to.
