Pre-Condition Cabin While Unplugged FordPass Switch Not Working?

Anyone else have this issue? 23 XLT 312a. This setting doesn’t seem to exist on the 12” screen; only in the app.

However, I can’t ever get this switch to flip on. Pre-conditioning has worked once, despite having the schedule and it resetting multiple times. The app only ever shows the Monday setting for Departure Time, no matter the day of the week. I recall my Mach-E showing whatever was the next upcoming start up.

I didn't have any departure times set. I just added one for this afternoon and I was able to toggle it on.

I haven't used this feature in a while, but set up one for Friday morning, set for cool and saved the schedule, then was able to switch on the "....while unplugged" option.

The precondition schedule didn't show on home screen until I did a pull-down refresh.

When I want to cool (or heat) the cabin, I simply remote start. Much easier process and more flexible if you’re not exactly sure when you’re leaving.

Thanks. We’re all familiar with that option, but this is to precondition the vehicle for regularly scheduled trips.

Nothing that I’ve found or that I’ve heard. IRS incredibly frustrating. The only thing I can think to try is disconnecting the 12v battery for 10 minutes but I haven’t had the time or availability yet.

That won't do anything. It has never worked for the Mach-E either.

Today, for the first time ever, even though I have had it switched on since I received the truck, the cabin conditioning ran this morning without the truck being plugged in. The multiple software bugs are very annoying but things do seem to be improving but at a glacial pace.

An update was issued last night on the Google play Store for Android users, 4.31.1, [bug fixes] but they don't say what bugs were fixed.
