Just got this last night. Ironically, I'm almost done with a 1500 mile road trip. I didn't have any speed or handshake issues on EA the past couple days. Fastest charging I saw was 165 kW and it didn't stay there very long.

The handshake issues are on specific brands of chargers. Back in February, I had handshake issues with some old EA chargers that worked fine the year prior. I have no idea if that was due to EA's software, or the vehicle getting an update that this update now modifies. It was quite frustrating having to do multiple sessions to get enough to get to the next charger, or not connect at all.

I believe this update is supposed to fix that, as I was told by Ford's BEV team they were working on a fix.

Not exactly sure what it is, but I got it.
It also turned on external noise, whatever that's called.
I thought I heard a strange sound, that was it.
It is off again.

Worth noting: I have turned off automatic updates.
This did not override that.
It asked if I wanted to download.
Then asked if I wanted to install.
That is how I like it.

For some reason my truck doesn’t like the update. All previous updates have worked easily, this one doesn’t…. The update starts and then loops and asks me if I want to update again.

It'l take at some point, your 12v battery SOC needs to be at a higher threshold.

My truck has been trying to perform this latest update for the past three days to no avail. It comes back saying that it was cancelled because it was interrupted by another process. I have tried to force the update instead of waiting for the next scheduled time but still does not work. Has anyone else seen this issue or know what I should do to get the update to go through?

Make sure you're not doing anything with the truck.

Try driving it 30 minutes, then stop, apply the update manually, watch the countdown start (120 seconds), and lock it and walk away out of range, and don't come back into range with PaaK or FOB (but you can walk up and look in without them).

Okay I will try that. I started the countdown before but left the FOB in the truck.

I had it fail three times on Friday. I knew it was coming so I charged the 12V all night Thursday and verified it was over 80% before the first attempt. I got the same error you did but suspected I caused it by walking past the truck with the fob in my pocket. I verified the battery was still over 80%, kicked off the update again, turned off the headlights, locked the doors, and wrapped the fobs in aluminum foil and put them at the opposite end of the house. It failed again so I drove for 30 minutes and repeated the second attempt and got a third failure. I chatted with Ford and they had me do a connected services reset and told me it would update 15 minutes later. I left it for a couple of hours and then came back and this is the message on my screen now. I’ve only gotten two normal OTA updates, every other time it has failed or I’ve had to charge the 12V with and external charger. It seems like the OTA process is getting worse instead of better.
