Agree - I finally got one of the other updates installed today and this one started downloading immediately. It has failed twice already, but it did download and has attempted to install. In a couple of days if it still fails I'll reset the 12v BMS again.

Sigh - it's now had 37 attempts and no success. 12V battery sufficiently charged, but it keeps telling me it was interrupted by another process.

I even attempted putting my battery maintainer on it to see if that would help despite the instructions saying the Frunk needed to be closed, but that did not work.

And per some of the latest thread, I charged it to 100%, but that failed both before it reached 100% and after.

It's starting to look like my only options will be to waste my time with a dealer or pay for the 48 hour FDRS license once I have some time to dedicate to it.
As a quick update, I purchased the 2 Day FDRS license tonight after my 45th failure. Updated everything except for the DSP update per recommendations across threads. And the OTA update is still pending and continuing to fail. FYI for anyone else considering going the FDRS route on this one.

That's because the OTA is going to keep trying until it times out. When attempting to install on the vehicle it sees the files already there unexpectedly and fails and reports the fail to the server. The server says keep trying since it doesn't yet know where the files came from. Once it times out the server rescans the system and realizes that update was done with the dealer tool and marks it complete rather than failed.

It will not be marked complete in Oasis...it will just say Campaign Has Expired

Well - this release BCF-DET installed tonight for me. What did I do? I reset my BMS again today. Someone has noted that should only be done when the 12 v is charged. I can't say if that is right, wrong or indifferent, but I can tell you the two troublesome releases both installed within 24 hours of me doing the 12v BMS reset. I did have a longer drive tonight, maybe 20 minutes before I hit the Install now and then locked the truck and walked away, but it did install.

I'm a 99% believer that indeed almost all of the install issues are guaranteed 12v battery status.

posted this in the DCFC priority update thread too but after multiple scheduled and manual update failures, both the DCFC update and this one did finally install after requesting a manual update right after a 30 min drive.

👆what @GDN said.

I had the OTA fail three times. Twice on schedule and once on demand. So I put my trickle charger on the 12v jumper posts and the update installed that night.

I don’t have any empirical data, but it sure looks like the 12v battery status is key.

So module details ARE available in Oasis... The misinformation and/or lack of education consistency across Ford reps and their Franchise Dealer Service Advisors is just infuriating.

I can only assume this is what my vehicle should look like in the system. 2 Days after I installed all FDRS updates (Except for DSP) the errors in app and ability to "update" from my vehicle have gone away. However, my update screen in-vehicle does still show this update information as "Not Completed" but with no ability to force the update from that screen. So hopefully the correct module was updated.

Not sure if it was this update or the other update that was a repeat of previous ones but -

Tow/Haul now has 1 petal drive available. It used to not be an option in tow haul mode.

Has anyone had this update push OTA yet?
Mine has been failing to update since the 2nd (Sunday)

Battery Voltage 12.38V. 12V SOC at 88%. Failed while charging at 67% HV SOC.

I have been making good use of this HV-LV transfer feature for months. I hope this update does not adversely impact my aftermarket phantom loads of about 12watts: per https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...wer-and-ground-points.7461/page-3#post-311237

Actually it does, after it gets low enough.
>> The 12V battery will wear out if this
energy transfer is completed daily due to aftermarket loads draining the 12V battery down to 40% or lower.

• Vehicle has 35 Amp-hour AGM 12V Battery

I use the calm screen - it has SoC.

I could got for a nerd stats screen, with a hours worth of charted 1min increments mi/kWh and SoC% and watts break down to motors, climate, accessories. Some intigers on the power bar charts would be nice too.

Check the 12V battery level. Mine wouldn't install when battery was @ 14.32V. Based on some comments on the MME forum, I charged the HVB from 52% to 100%. The 12V was @ 14.45V. At that point update installed with no issues.

Based on my own recent experience with MME, I am beginning to suspect that each update requires different 12V SOC depending on the size of the update. I had an update that kept failing for about a month, then 2 different updates were installed without issues, but the first one kept failing, and then after a few more failures, it installed like a champ.
That is a reasonable hypothesis.

Mine finally stopped trying to update and won't let me try to manually update anymore. Ford must have pulled the update.
