I think I found out what this update does.

- My PAAK stopped working.
- User profiles were turned off, so it defaulted to having One Pedal drive OFF - I was surprised by the truck moving when I let off the brake.

More "features" added by Ford. It is always a challenge to find what no longer works after every update. Ford should help us owners by publishing a list of what the update "un-does" as well as what it does.

How do I even check what version I am on. I check in the truck under software updates and it says it will check overnight but never shows the version numbers or the ability to manually update. Plugged in over night or not.

there is no truck version or total system version. Ford issues updates to different modules in the truck and labels them either with an update number like X.x.x or sometimes they issues patches to past modules updates as “priority updates “ with a PUxxx-xxx-… naming.

I’m still at 6.2 and Ford states I’m up to date, nothing waiting.

my truck was built in early February and I'm still on 4.2.2.. can't make any sense out of when updates are applied. by date of purchase, date of manufacturer, or model (pro, lariat, platinum, xlt). a total mystery

Log in your ford account online, not fordpass. go to vehicle dashboard, scroll down to Quick Links, pick support, click on SYNC and Navigation Updates.

Thank you, this is helpful. It shows my Sync version as 4.0.22326. But it seems like 4.2.x is newer. I just got my Truck in Oct, how can it be this far out of date and never update? Strange I can't just hit update in the Truck and see current and latest version

From reports here on the forum, it is the collective understanding that Lightnings with a blend date after April or May are not yet eligible for updates.

I took delivery in July and have yet to receive any type of update.

I get not being bleading edge, but software that was available in February is still not available to us? Crazy.

My Lariat was built in early February and is still on 4.0.22326. as I posted somewhere (this thread?) there is no rhyme or reason to the time one might get an upgrade whether its production date, purchase date, model, trim package, its a complete mystery
