Well that is pretty concerning. That is like the MachE owner whos car got bricked from an update. Hopefully @Ford Motor Company will make it right for you, and quickly.

Very impressed. Dealer took in and got it back same day

To quote the service order : DDM Failed during OTA Update. Perform PMI, Re-Test, Update DDM & PDM Clear codes all Working.

It even got washed!? that hasn't been done at my dealer since before covid!?

Overall happy it wasn't days.

What was your last update before this one? I got 6.3 and the update last week but this one hasn’t come yet.

Mine was an update to 6.8.0 a few days ago. Got this one last night. It kicked out my EVSE with an "Over Current" error so I suspect it contained updates to the L2 charger modules or whatever modules control them.

While I've been lucky to get most every update and very early in the cycle, I never got this one. I'm wondering if for certain trucks the door module updates were also included in another release. Back on 11/21 and 12/6 - I received two different unnamed releases then all of 6.X through 6.13, but not this one. I've double checked my screen shots that I keep. 1FTVW1EV3NWG03253

Want to piggyback back on this. Was these also a recent update that wasn't a PU? Two days ago all my settings(Folding Mirrors/Ambient Lighting) were off and had to turn them back on.

I believe Ford can and does push some "updates" of sort without alerting the user or displaying an update. A couple of times over the last few weeks, I had similar as you did. I usually only note that my dash screen will default to the Calm screen. I wonder if these aren't updates to charging locations or other updates that maybe aren't truly SW changes. I never track my radio presets getting reset because I don't use them

That I know of, there have only been two DDM/PDM updates released and they both were stand-alone updates that only updated those two modules. The roll-out for these updates was never very aggressive, though. I am not sure why.

The IPMA/PSCM updates provide significant improvements to BC performance and have the features for BC 1.4 in them, but not activated. The first popped up in FDRS for vehicles in December.

Haven't got this one yet either and usually am first. I'm sure it will come. DDM and PDM were in my list of modules updates from ruge a few days ago and also back in December when Utter was here.

It looks like the trick to getting updates is playing hard to get. After a long time of getting no updates, I turned of my connectivity completely (mostly to save my 12V SOC). It was off for a few days but as soon as I turned it back on, this update was ready to go. Then again, it could be the fact that after a week of subzero temps, we hit 70F today and truck was in a good mood. Or may be it was the fact that for some reason after a very long stretch of low SOC, 12V SOC broke 80% today. Regardless of the reason I take it.

It took almost 40 minutes. With different noises coming from front and back (Attached). The rear sound was louder and it seemed like there were fluids being pumped. Anyone knows what either of these noises have to do with software update?

Things that may or may not have anything to do with this:

Two of my tire pressures are not showing up.

I usually charge at 6KW, I noticed after a little while, it dropped to 3KW and I had to unplug and plug back in to get 6KW back.

My last update was 6.4. I still seem to be missing a bunch including 6.5. 6.8 and 6.13

It includes animations in the cluster for BC 1.4 whenever it gets released.
