PTS/FDRS VIN Check Thread

I received my first and only OTA, to 4.2.1.1 just over a week ago, three weeks after purchase. Can you confirm, with PTS, that my truck was built with minor feature code HNLAB ? And if there are updates for IPMA and PSCM modules? I'm trying to prove to my dealership that they need to follow SSM 52161 to fix my "front sensors blocked" issue that pops up every time the truck thinks I'm parking.

Yes, you have an IPMA update available.
That GWM and TCU should get updated first though.

You've gotten one OTA so far:

I know it says to set a schedule to do updates while you're sleeping...but I've had better luck setting them to update around 0900 in the morning after I've driven the truck...so the 12V battery is fully charged from the drive. If I stop in to a store and it wants to update for 20 mins or so I just tell it to "Update Now" and come back and it's all done. That way I don't miss OTAs cause my 12V battery was too low in the middle of the night to do the update. Everybody's different though and they figure out what works for them.

Thank you! I do have my update schedule set to everyday at 6am. I do drive it regularly so I would hope the 12v battery is charged. Every-time I get into the truck I do a manual update check to see if I can trigger one. I am debating of taking this in for service for the TSB on the parking sensors but I am not sure if they can do the update. It’s quite annoying. It’s been a month of dealing with it.

OTA 23-PU1113-UNX-DC that address a connectivity issue you are not affected by was sent to you after the Tesla charger update, but the OTA trigger timed out and failed. Not sure why it timed out as it seems you drive your truck regularly, but I would not worry about it. Like I said, this OTA is to fix an issue you don't have.

1st VIN OTA history. This truck is missing the 6.x.x updates as well as many PU updates.

2nd VIN has gotten up to 6.2.0 and is missing the rest of the 6.x.x updates and the PU updates, as well.

This truck is on the latest Sync version and OTA history shows the last OTA as the Tesla charger update. You still have modules pending updates, but nothing to be worried about here, IMO.

I’d appreciate your checking 1FT6W1EV6PWG25402 for pending updates. I bought the truck April 5 and received 4.2.1.1 April 26, although the truck still says “Ready to download” for the update status. I’d like to know if I have anything else pending and if 4.2.1.1 actually installed. Thanks!
