Thought I’d post a pic of rear motor out of the truck. I couldn’t find any posts of this having been done before.
Rear motor is being replaced in attempt to fix my 1 pedal drive fault.

Apparently the module in question doesn’t come separate and the entire assembly gets replaced. 🙈🤞

Is there a service interval for changing the fluid and filter?
I might have to pull up some service info to see. My guess is probably 100k or later. Also rest assured I’ll be doing mine much sooner like maybe 50-60k.

150K or 10 years for the fluid, but they don't discuss the filters (2) one on each motor unit.

Copy that. Yeah no way I’d wait that long. I like to be ahead of the game on maintenance. A filter and some trans fluid are not that expensive. I still need to look up how to service. I’m assuming probably just drop the metal shield and there is probably a drain plug.

No it's more involved, you need to remove shield, remove side fill plug, remove 10 fasteners holding the oil pan, drop oil via loosened pan into catch basin, inspect & clean reinstall or replace internal screen, clean mounting surfaces of old RTV sealant, mount pan with new RTV & fasteners and torque to 97 inch/lb, fill motor via side plug until level with plug opening, return plug to fill hole torque to 30 ft/lb

NOTE the procedure guide doesn't combine the oil change & filter change as a contiguous list of steps, but if I were to change the filters, I'd do it before the final fill, you should also reinspect the fluid level after running the motors for a few minutes once the new filter has been primed .

As a non-car person. Truck insides don't belong outside.

That's fascinating to see. Insides belong inside. Edit: glad they are replacing under warranty.

I already did a preemptive fluid change at around 10K miles, just to clear out any break in particles. I'm waiting to do filters though, until maybe 30K. I have the new filters though. They're not cheap!

How much fluid do they hold and how much were the filters? You have part numbers?
