Services for remote climate start & charge monitoring failed today

Early this morning around 0615 I tried remote climate start to get out for an early breakfast ahead of snowstorm, truck refused to start.

Later after we got home with hot coffee in hand, I decided to plug in and top up the truck incase we have power issues during or after the storm, the truck is charging just fine, but Fordpass does not show the charging statistics.

Departure timer would not take a new event record, process timed-out.

BTW: further confirmation of server status ..... the truck is [OFF} and charging but not according to Fordpass!

I know it's not the same thing, but my truck was ready at my planned departure time of 0715 ET. So, at least one thing was working right in the Ford cloud.

Glad it ran for you, I would hope that a successfully stored DT event would run autonomously regardless of cloud control failures, might not report back an accurate status but at least it ran. Ideally that's how I envision DT's to operate.

FordPass is updating correctly for me. I haven't tried a remote start but it's reporting my DT and updated when I pulled the screen down.

Since we moved to version 5.x.x the android variant that I use no longer does an 'animated' pull down to refresh like it did in version 4.x.x

I usually touch the lock/unlock to test communications, but I was in bluetooth range so the lock routine worked fine, it's just failing telematic control features.

I'm using Emporia to monitor the charging progress, IIRC the dash IPC said I was at 58% SOC, not the 59% you see above. Expecting it will take my truck 2.6 hours to reach 90%.

Ford Webserver to vehicle control panel is running with stale data, comms failure might be on the truck side.

Well the 5.11.0 on my android is showing what I consider bloat ads... This just showed up this morning. And like many Ford issues now they want me to buy blue oval network access

Just Checked Play store App {Android} notes Item #3 for ver 5.11 update: "Effectiveness of cabin conditioning may be reduced by extreme outside temperatures". You can draw your own conclusions.

I got that too, I had to LOG OUT, clear cache, force stop then log in again to resolve that.

Also had to accept a new TOS on FORD.COM this morning when I first logged in to do a systems check.
