Just got the update as well. Is 6.14 the most recent update that has rolled out to folks? Hopefully this means it won’t be too long until we get the walk away door luck and propower while off features the 2024s have as an OTA update soon.

Any tips or tricks to get the update? I've been on 6.8.0 forevvvverer...

Haha...usually when I forget my truck can receive OTA updates I then get one out of the blue.

I only got to 6.8 like a month ago at most. I got a lot of updates the past couple month and have seen similar experiences online. Hopefully Ford is getting their shit together and we’ll be caught up to 2024 soon.

Not sure if this was covered, noticed CarPlay just “lingers” after truck is off and door opened. Before the update, radio just turned off. Normally don’t care, but now it’s annoying when I’m actively talking on the phone and awaiting the switch.

i notice it does that sometime and when it does it seems like the door button lock wont work for a bit either. Also, if i open the door an close it carplay will then turn off. I think it may have something to due with the bluetooth connection for the system/locks.

And here’s my truck that is still on 6.5.0…. And has been for about 8 months. But every now and then I get excited and it downloads and notifies me of a new update. And then it just reinstalls 6.5? W-T-F??? Juse happened to me again the other day.

I think I did get the 6.8.0 update download once, which failed/postponed a couple times and then it cleared out and and said I’d have to wait to try again later. Ford’s update system is stupid and broken.

I have this update now... truck spent the last week at the dealership and came back with the updated icons at the top, when checking in the truck it was already downloading ECG 24.2.5.6.2. I never got a notification on the app that an update installed so I'm thinking the dealership did it since they were already doing some other CSP updates (front parking sensor and frunk) for me.

Wow just got the update.. update was coming down right as we had a tornado move through, power go out and wifi go down... must have just finished as when everything came back up the truck said completed That is about as close as i would like things to get to potentially bricking the truck!

Got this update (6.14.0) today. Downloaded and installed while out for a drive. Didn't notice update at all until I put truck in Park and said update was completed.

2023 ER Lariat, got this today. Bring on Karaoke. Never mind auto lane change, who needs that when you can sing?

I really do love my Lightning, but man these updates are lame. Better than nothing!
