I wonder if this speeds up front windows at all? They roll so slowly compared to the rears but looking online it's a common complaint about newer F150s.

I had this problem but assumed it was due to the wind and rain shields I put on although it only happened on drivers side, front. This is good news to me, but would have traded it for upgrade to BlueCruise lane change.

I also got these two updates (self-installed via FDRS yesterday, both front doors).

I also remember there is a Ford-general self-programming routine for automatic windows which "bounce back" after trying to close:

1. Open offending window fully,
2. Close all the way to the top, manually holding the motor button throughout.
3. Open again fully, manually holding the motor button throughout.
4. Repeat step 2 again.
5. Repeat step 3 again.
6. Repeat step 2 again (yes, again).
7. Repeat step 3 again (yes, again).

After these three complete, manual close - open - close - open - close - open - close cycles, that door module should be reprogrammed to not bounce back on closing, for a good while anyways.

recently have had this problem of driver's window closing sensitivity and its reopening bounceback. I think I have cured it by holding the window switch up for 10 seconds after closing and maybe I also held the switch down for 10 seconds on opening fully. Below are the real instructions that I might need to follow:

Manual, p128 shows:
Resetting One-Touch Close
Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. 1. Close the window. [that will be tough if it is bouncing back!] 2. Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds. 3. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds. 4. Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds. 5. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds. Note:Repeat the procedure if the window does not close when you use one-touch

interesting info about Global Opening that follows:
WHAT IS GLOBAL OPENING You can use the remote control to open the windows with the ignition off. USING GLOBAL OPENING 1. Press and release the unlock button on the remote control. 2. Press and hold the unlock button on the remote control. 3. Release the button when the windows start to open. Press the lock or the unlock button on the remote control to stop global opening. Note:You can use global opening for a short period of time when you unlock your vehicle using the remote control
SWITCHING GLOBAL OPENING ON AND OFF 1. Using the information display controls on the steering wheel, select Settings. 2. Select Vehicle. 3. Select Windows. 4. Switch Remote Open on or off

And then there is this about over-riding bounce-back:
WHAT IS WINDOW BOUNCE-BACK The window stops and reverses if it detects an obstruction when closing. OVERRIDING WINDOW BOUNCE BACK WARNING: If you override bounce-back, the window does not reverse if it detects an obstacle. Take care when closing the windows to avoid personal injury or damage to your vehicle. 1. Close the window until it reaches the point of resistance and let it reverse. 2. Lift and hold the window control switch within two seconds to override bounce-back and close the window. Bounce-back is now disabled and you can close the window manually. Note:The window goes past the point of resistance and you can fully close it. Note:If the window does not close, have your vehicle checked as soon as possible.
[So maybe I can mash my fingers in the window if I want to?]

Thanks 21st Century! I performed yesterday, based on your information I expect it to work!

Just got this today... quoted 40 minutes to fix the windows that weren't broken. But now they'll be better?!

Also got this about 5:30 today. I checked many times for the BC 1.4 (I guess only '23's got that love today), talk about disappointment when this came along.

This is an inhibited release and I received the Early Access questionnaire from Ford just after installing. Version 25.12.0 as reported.

I got both this Window 25.12.0 and Bluecruise 1.4 back to back today. I do have a 2023.
