Hmmmm...received the email on 10-18-2024 but nothing on the replacement adapter since then. I wanted to have a Tesla capable adapter in the truck, so purchased an A2Z Typhoon Pro about a month ago. So I have that but not sure if I'll ever see the replacement from Ford. The email said "Ford will supply a replacement adapter in the coming weeks..." 52 weeks in a year I guess so coming weeks could cover a lot of weeks. Sigh.....

4520 here. Still waiting. šŸ˜”

Ford dropping the ball again during a busy travel season. Surprise surprise.
Yeah they remind me of when when they recalled the engine in my Escape PHEV and said it could catch on fire and kill me, but they had no idea when they would have replacement engines, so just keep driving itā€¦. Itā€™s fineā€¦itā€™s fineā€¦nothing to worry aboutā€¦.

Thanks! I think I say that. But, not seeing anything since I was curious if folks were getting them and not posting. Unfortunately, it appears weā€™re just getting any shipped.

Iā€™m #ā€¦.5131 so itā€™s apparently going to be a long wait at this pace.
My order number is around there, nothing here.

I was tired of waiting and ordered a SuperTap from https://www.TeslaTapInc.com. I have used it multiple times and it worked great every time. Plug-N-Play I will just sell my Ford adapter when / if I receive it.
This thread is about REPLACEMENT adapters for a defective batch, not new orders.

My latest trip to Colorado is coming up in a couple of weeks and I still donā€™t have the replacement adapter. I have little hope that the replacement adapter will arrive before my trip and Iā€™m trying to decide if I want to chance using the old adapter. I used the adapter a lot back in July driving all over Texas but now Iā€™m afraid to use it because Ford told me not to.

Itā€™s going to be cold going up to Colorado so I canā€™t imagine the adapter overheating. Has anyone here actually had any problems with the old adapter? What kind of trouble could I get into if I use the old adapter on my upcoming trip?

No guts no glory.

Itā€™s often easier to ask for forgiveness then it is permission.

Hell itā€™s their adapter. Who they gonna sue?

I used the heck out of my original (Mach E) Tesla adapter, now replaced. I'd just go on ahead and use it.
