Read the 2nd line from the bottom on the adapter's label. This pic fragment stolen from Tom M's post on the previous thread page:

Ford F-150 Lightning Tesla NACS Adapter Recall / Replacement Notice (10/24/24) 1730171140007-a2

Starting at the 24, the 5 digits read "24149." 24 is the year of manufacture and it's a Julian date, so 149 is the number of days in the year from 1/1/24. But 2024 is a leap year. So, ask your favorite AI chatbot what date is 149 days from the start of a leap year. In Tom M's case, it's May 29th, according to MS Copilot.

So, after you find the date of manufacture of your adapter, see @bmwhitetx's post to see if the date falls in the apparent batch window determined so far (other posts suggest the part number label might be important, but the evidence there seems inconclusive): https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...replacement-notice-10-24-24.21940/post-430570. You should have gotten an e-mail from Ford, too, if your adapter is in the bad batch.

P.S. The date code on my foam wrapping says 15 Oct., whereas the code on the adapter works out to August 3rd. Presumably, the adapter code is when Tesla made it, and the foam wrapping code is when Ford packaged it in the "Jim Farley Thank You Box."

Just curious if others with a recalled adapter see the same. When I login to my Ford Account Dashboard, I once again have a "Check the status of your Fast Charging Adapter here" link. This is new for me and has not shown for quite a while. No new info, shows all the same data as before the defective unit shipped. In production, should ship in June, etc...

I had that link but clicking it just gave me an error. I’ve actually traded off my first Lightning which got me the free adapter and have a 2024 that didn’t come with one. I wonder if Ford will still send me a replacement for the original adapter? I would assume it’s tied to the order number and not the VIN but who knows.

As already posted I have NOT received the email. Mine was #1568 and it was shipped on June 7th
CORRECTION: just found the email in my spam filter. sent to me on the 18th. I have a trip on Nov 22, that I cannot make without the Tesla adaptor. I've used my adaptor a half a dozen times and it's worked fine so if I don't get the replacement in time, I'm going to have to make the trip with my current one.
