Awesome thanks for the info. Is the ride better than the stock struts?
Hmmmm - I honestly dont know.

It definitely rides different now, BUT, I have no idea how much of that is the struts and how much is a heavier wheel/tire combo, and a lot more rubber on the sidewall. It drives (and looks) much more like a truck now than it did, which was what I was after.

I’m asking because I used a leveling kit and my tire guy just said that my tires are wearing unevenly and he thinks it’s the struts or the upper control arm isn’t long enough. Thanks
Have you had alignment done after leveling kit install? The camber might be out. And usually, if the front end lifted 2" or more, you'd need new (longer) upper control arms to be a to get alignment in spec.

For the inevitable questions about impact to range, I don't know yet. Haven't driven it enough since the tires to know for sure, and the speedometer is wrong too, so it will require some monitoring and math on my part to get there - its gonna be a bit before I know anything, but I'm expecting 10% hit at least, and wouldn't be surprised at 15%.

Next time its in for service, I'm going to see if I can get the them to update the tire size so that the speedometer will be accurate.
For adjusting tire size you can use forscan for that. It’s an easy adjustment.

I had it done a year and half ago when I bought the truck and a shop did it. They did an alignment, it’s on the invoice.

I had my tires rotated recently with the local tire shop (not the one that did the level and tires) and they pointed out uneven wear. They mentioned the upper control arms and gave me the name of an off road shop. I wonder if I should have another alignment done?

Could having your tires be under inflated do that too?

I would try a different shop to do another alignment. There is a possiblity, you hit a pothole or something. Ask them if camber and "toe in" numbers are close to the limit.
Underinflated tires can result in excessive wear, also, in outer and inner edges. The center of the tire bows inward, due to the weight of the vehicle. and the tire rides on edges
Below is a good explanation of what alignment terms are https://www.lesschwab.com/article/alignment/understanding-camber-caster-and-toe.html

Thanks for all the info. I’ll do that.

Looks great. I’ve been thinking about the K03s and now that I see them on a Lightning, that’s the way I’m going.

Have you tried BlueCruise since the front end lift? Still works ok?

I have, and it works fine - no issues at all.
