URGENT!!

If you have a Samsung Android phone and you use PaaK, keep your fob with you. It appears this update breaks PaaK but since everyone followed the directions and set up a backup start passcode (BSP), no one should be stranded. If you didn't set up a BSP, you really need to.

My Verizon s23u got the monthly security patch yesterday and my Paak still works. I had another update on the 5th.

No issues with my S24 and PAAK. But when fordpass automatically updates, I have to restart fordpass to restart PAAK

I had a big OS update on my Samsung S23 Ultra a few days ago and I haven't skipped a beat. I always check every couple weeks to test my Emergency Backup Passcode, just to be sure that it's still there and working.

That's very sound practice, setting up the backup code. But what are we supposed to do if the keyboard never pops up to input it?

And, yes. I've tapped on the line. Our Mach-E never pops the keyboard up on the display.

I noticed issues with notifications on my Watch4 were no longer coming in from the S24U (T-mobile), I fixed the issue be reviewing the list of authorized apps to communicate with my watch, had to turn on several apps including Fordpass.

I always carry my FOB, and generally on depend on PAAK for access to my truck while doing yard work at home, move the truck out so I can get to the mower and yard tools.

I'm charging right now, but will do a PAAK only test when I go out to unplug for my charging stats around 11:40 PM

Curious to see if I'm also affected or if tweaking the notification settings fixed the issue / or not!

OK. I have both a Mach-E and a Lightning. I have not allowed my S23 Ultra to update since I saw the post on the Mach-E forum saying the security patch broke PAAK. After seeing @sstevetx post that he has the update and isn't experiencing problems, I allowed my phone to take the update. And the results are confusing.

My phone will connect to, and start, our Lightning. It will not connect to, or start, our Mach-E. So it seems it's vehicle specific. Very unscientific, but I believe Lightning owners won't have a problem with the latest security patch.
