Predictions for dates for media reviews, EPA range, etc.

Now that we've made it through all of the steps of the Lightning rollout I've compared the actual dates to the predicted dates that were based on the Mach E. Happily, Ford met or exceeded the timeline they had for the Mach E rollout.

14 April 2022-EPA ranges released (actually 14 March )
18 April 2022-First retail order build date (actually around 21 April, although some unconfirmed reports of earlier builds. Some fleet orders documented as early as 15 March)
1 May 2022-"First impressions (no driving impressions)" media embargo lifted (actually 2 May)
6 May 2022-"First drive" media embargo lifted (actually 11 May)
22 May 2022-First retail order delivery (actually 26 May)
11 June 2022-First FCTP (mannequin) deliveries (actually 25 May)

I would expect they will have over a thousand customers deliveries by end of June. They had over 2000 done back at the apr 26 launch event(mix of manequin/retail). I would think they should have 5000 built by now as they have the process down and another month behind them.

I doubt they have that many built. They seem to still be doing a few hundred a week. It has been about 4 weeks since the media event, so I would say 3k to 4k built so far.

The next big milestone will be when @tommolog gets his truck. I think he'll have the first in-depth range and charging tests. I believe he was a 5/2 build week so if the Ford gods are good he may have his truck in the next few weeks.

I just got the notification today that my truck is built and going through final inspection before shipping to the dealer.

Last week they should have built 470. Modules from the Monday trucks (5/23) have popped, but nothing since. It's been very quiet.
