My Pro arrived at the dealer today!

Avalanche Pro, Tow Tech, Max Tow, 9.6kW PPO

Now to figure out when I can make the trip from Florida to Iowa to get it!
Hope they make the process seamless and give you the price they are supposed to!

Dude, congratulations... but what's your truck doing at a dealership in Iowa?
I trusted Granger (Iowa) to not play games with pricing and letting people cut the line even though Ford allowed it, based on their reputation with the Bronco community. They also saved me money compared to Florida dealers that generally charge exorbitant “dealer fees” and mandatory worthless add-ons.

Plus, I’m from the Midwest and figured it would be a fun adventure to drive it back. Although, Winter could make doing it in an SR TOO much of an adventure!

We’ll see how it goes once I actually, literally buy it!

Fair enough. If I knew a dealer I could trust and had ties to the area, I'd go for that, too. I've got some family ties up there, too, but I think I'll be alright with the dealer down here. We'll see... maybe sometime this week.

I think there are some good dealers in FL. The one that has sold a few Lariat SRs at MSRP that they got in for stock, for instance. Mullinax also told me they'd sell at MSRP and they don't have a bunch of dealer fees, also.

But at the time I decided to switch to Iowa, I was with a dealer that wouldn't make any promises about MSRP (aka, basically a promise that they WON'T stick to MSRP), and Ford was saying you could only change dealers once, so I felt most comfortable just going to Granger at the time.

Hope it works out for you! Maybe we'll have a Florida Lightnings meet-up at some point!

Amazing! Thanks for taking these!

It's so much more "real", now seeing these!

And congrats on taking delivery of yours! How do you like it so far after the drive back to MN? How was the efficiency?

Congrats! Just tell your salesperson Monday is the last day you’ll be in town for the rest of the month and they’ll be motivated to push the truck through PDI.

Question. How did you first know your truck was delivered? Email from ford, the dealership notifying you, or checking the tracker?

Order app. I refreshed it and it showed delivered so I went to the Ford site and it had checked off shipped. Based on my experience so far I don’t expect to hear from my dealer, I’ll probably have to tell them it’s here.

Estimate 6-8 months, doing a full tear down tomorrow.

To stay positive, and for the forum members, azure gray tri coat looks sick.

Will do long write up later. Want to say thanks to this forum, the process was great and I really enjoyed all the information and deep diving to figure out exactly where our trucks were. Religiously checked this thread until today but looks like I won't be getting a lightning.
Shipping damage on a new vehicle is the worst. 6 to 8 months? Wow, seems like they should just fast track you an order for a new one. But if it doesn't work out and you end up not getting a Lightning now, I guess that makes sense.

I think you're the first to post a customer pic of Azure Gray on the Lightning. Too bad it's under these circumstances. :(

Just got an update from customer service:

I show your 2023 F-150 is IN Transit. The vehicle location is Ramp 27, Mira Loma, CA and the estimated arrival date is  Dec-07-2022. The Railcar # is TTGX694350 (Union Pacific Railroad ).

That's 50 miles away! I'm hoping for some good news next week...

Anyone else have the same rail car, or have any insight on this rail yard and how long it takes to process the trucks to get it to the dealer?
